Sunroof Repair HELP

My sunroof is stuck and won't open up. I've already confirmed that I have a detached cable. So what is the problem? Accessing the cable. The SR is closed tighter than the prom queen, so I cannot remove the headliner panel to access the overcentering levers.

I've already done a search and came up with this:

the usual question here is how do you pop the front of the headliner down with the roof closed. there's enough room to work a small hook tool into the seam and rotate it so the hook goes under the leading edge of the sunroof liner. pulling down pops the retaining clips out of their holes. there's several. be careful not to tear the headliners in the process. something like a pocket screwdriver that you heat and bend on the end about 1/4" will get the job done. others have used a putty knife.
John, maybe you can chime in here.

Steve,

Thanks for the reply, but I've taken care of it.

It can be done, just takes some care and patience.
