Early door part question

My 69 door pockets are S@#$$ed and i'm thinking of trying to fit a 1965 - 1968 panel with the pleated pocket?

Has anyone tried this?

Will the arm rests/ pull for the 69 still fit?

Do i need to fit / find 65 - 68 arm rests?

Or should i just go for the RS look.

P.S. Merry Xmas

come on anyone...

i atleast thought i'd have 500 RS it replys.

With the conversion factor $2000 for pockets that you can't use, other then to close the door is a bit much.

Hi Classic: my car is a '74, and when I went to RS panels, everything came off the doors. This includes armrests, handles and the stock release lever -- everything goes. The only things that stayed in place were the window cranks. What is added when doing this conversion are pull straps to release the doors.

If you go with the RS door panels, the look is very nice and tastefully minimal. You do, of course, lose storage space without the door pockets.

Is there any differance between the SWB door and the LWB door?

if not you would think the early doo handle would fit wouldn't you?
