the reason I drive an M3 for work....

basically I was sitting stopped at an light and an 18 wheeler next to me decided he wanted to be in my lane, did not see me. So he hit my rear quarter and spun me around so I was broadside to him, 90 degree rotation, and pushed me 10 feet before he realised I was there. no biggy, surprised me, but it was so slow it was unreal. Just glad it was not one of my 911s. If had been my 1970 911T, it would be a heartbreak, if it had been my 996 it would be big $$,

Glad to see it's not terminal.

Are you sure you don't want to trade those old wheels for some nice, easy-to-clean Contours

I don't know, I think I like my '99 M3 better than my restored 1970T or my 1973 RS replica track car. My Porsche's are no slouches either, but I really, really like my M3.

ooooh noooo Jim.

bummer dood. I second your gratitude for having the 911s spared. I think even I would shed a tear or two to see either of your cars get smashed up.

Happy Holidays!
