Why would you want the display WAY up high?

Gotta admire the hard work it took to make it. $pendy.

I've seen one of those in a supercharged 996. Very trick.
Your eyes frequently visit the rear view (or so they should) making it a nice clean application.

That's a great idea!! There are times I drive more with my rearview mirror than looking through the windsheild!! Of course, I probably shouldn't admit that.

Why not "project" it onto the windshield as long as you are going to design something so outrageous. However that could work ??

These have been around for a while - you scrape the silvering off the back of the mirror and mount the display part of the remote display there.

One problem is that you have to shift your visual focus from far to near. Another is that it cheerily lights up so the cop behind you will know that you have a radar det.

This is certainly more difficult for us as we get old, but its actually a great exercise for your eyes to help degeneration.

hmmmm.....justification for the purchase and to drive my car more........boy I'm getting good at this rationalizing thing:)

Yeah, I think its a goofy idea. Just buy the V1 remote and install it on the top of the steering column just below the tach. Perfect fit.
