now this is an interesting subject.....

I personally think the people who put 350's in 911's are the true "hackers" of the 911 legacy....BUT what if you put a Porsche Bi-Turbo V8 in hmmmmm lets say a 78 911SC....

Is that "Hacker" material too, or does it make it ok because its a Porsche V8?

The wiring would be a nightmare, I'm sure but try to explore the "What If"?

I was just kidding around. Ive been waiting for these things to start showing up wrecked. I really want to see somebody shoehorn one of these motors into a 914. A mid engined tube framed Fabcar type setup would be cool also.

Shuie,

I think youhave the right idea....Fabcar setup would be perfect....I think the motor MUST have sustained some damage though....I too have been waited for a wrecked one to show up, just to see how bad someone wrecked it and for the forst one I have seen....boy its jacked up.

Engines from cars that were in big crashes have bad karma.
Now if a tree fell on it then it would be ok but from a big crash no way.

I doubt someone had to die. However, if it was on it's roof, I'd stay away from the engine, unless I was there and heard it shut off before the oil pressure was gone.
