Porsche Parts expensive?

I hear a lot on how expensive Porsche parts are, some parts or crazy but it may
not be as bad as a lot of people think. The problom with Porsche parts is the state of tune is high. Webbers to Webbers comparision Porsche comes out pretty good, 20 years ago Webbers for a Chevy were $5,000, Porsche $2,000. Ten years ago MFI for a Chevy $15,000 (used Lucus needing rebuilt). Dry sump oil pump for a Chevy can cost the same as a Porsche dry sump oil pump. Oil cooler cost or the same. With Porsche you are stuck with Can AM level of Chevy tune with your street car. Just think what it must of been like for Can AM competiers to think Porsche builds street cars to Can AM sophisitacation what will they do for a race car? Food for

I'm in the business and they are definitely higher on the average than BMW or Jag. Only thing past would be Ferrari, the prices are just silly!
