911's were meant to have Euro H4's (or H1's ). Looks right!

Ahh, the way the Dr. intended. Love the chrome rings, and that is one nice SC!

I like them too. The car has more of a streamline / wedge look now.

I put the 80 / 100 watt Hella bulbs and I have the Surco relay kit installed, But should I do anything else with this wattage ?

I have the exact same setup and LOVE it. I have heard some say that you should upgrade the wiring from relay to the bulb, and upgrade the plug to a higher grade one. I haven't done that yet and haven't had any problems yet. If I do have problems in the future, it's an easy upgrade as the wiring is easily accessable.

I strongly prefer the U.S. look. I'm not a fan of the chrome ring on a car with black trim.

This was one of the first upgrades I did to my car. Ironicallly, it's a euro car to begin with.

Well you can always get the headlight rims colour coded.

I hope your not a big fan of the US bumperettes also

I think that SC looks 100% better with the Euro lights.

I love the Euro lights, with the chrome ring. So much so, I did the same to mine 9 months ago.

Looks great.

Bob - the chrome rings give it distinction. The car has a touch of "rich dining" to it that I really like. Kudos!

H1s give the look of an uncircumsized penis.

Not that I have seen a lot of those...other than in medical books.

That SC looks good with the chrome rings btw.

Just changed the bulbs in my US H4s today.

IMO, the chrome rings look out of place on the 79+ SC's because there is no other chrome on the car. I much prefer them painted. But to each his own...

I'm certainly in the minority, but I just as clearly prefer the original appearance. So, I use the "off road" US H4 units and love them. I'm probably going to get beefier plug connectors and wiring, and upgrade from my current 60/100 bulbs to the 100/140 units. Of course, I have relays.

The US-style trim rings and mounts ( let's not call these "US-H4's" as there aren't such animals....better to differentiate via aero-Bosch H4 vs Hella, flat lens H4's)...

Anyway...the US style trim rings and mounts ( "sugar scoop") drives a hellacious amount of water into the buckets, whereas the aero Bosch style doesn't......
