Fuel line help

I am working on the removal of my engine to replace the clutch and some other minor items...I am having aterrible time removing this fuel line...it looks like the line that recirculates uynused fuel back to the tank...I am curious if I should be removing it from the hard line that runs to the tank or from the connection at the engine and does the hose go into the 14mm fitting?

Thanks in advance!
