I would recommend KTR in Ayer, MA (ktrperformance.com), worth the drive. Franz is a great guy and really knows his stuff as far as tuning on the dyno. The NER of PCA had a dyno day there in Oct. (http://www.ktrperformance.com/gallery/Events/Porsche_10_18_04/porsche_graphs.htm). You can see my dyno run @ http://www.ktrperformance.com/gallery/Events/Porsche_10_18_04/1980_911_todd.htm
It is a dyno dynamics 4 wheel dynometer. Typically gives lower absolute numbers than a dynojet, but they say it is more realistic of what the actual hp numbers are. Doesn't really matter to me, comparing dyno runs is usually like comparing apples and oranges. At least I saw swapping the chip gave me 10hp

Tons of vintage race machinery to look at while you are there (http://www.ktrmotorsports.com/). Also while you are there get Roy McCluskey to take you for a drive in the Noble M12 (http://www.atlanticsportscar.com/) Drove that car and I am still trying to figure out a way to buy one.

Just down the road in Nyack, NY is another guy that knows his stuff. Rick Deman Motorsports has the dyno that bolts to the hub.
I know a few race cars that he has done, including his own, with great results.
Check out his shop. http://www.demanmotorsports.com/demanmotorsport/

HI,

I tried the portable dyno that bolts on your hubs at an SCCA race and it was not even close to the other dynos I had used. Maybe it had a problem.

Just north of Hartford is a shop with a dyno, I think East Windsor, near Musante Motorsports. Musante ran my car there after the last rebuild, call them to get the name of the shop.
