Photoshop HELP
Off Topic I know.......
Does anyone know how to convert or save a Photoshop file into a VECTOR file? (to help keep on topic) I am doing a logo that is to go on the side of a 911 race car that is racing on the Grand Am Cup series next season, and I need to get some artwork to the guy, but he needs it in a VECTOR file?????????? How do I do that? THe file now is a regular .PSD file with 4 layers in it. Thanks.

what is the image you want to convert? is it a picture (photograph) or a graphic (logo, type, etc)? i would need to know more to yield the best results but it doesn't sound like you're starting from an optium standpoint. hopefully the the file is a logo or type of some sort and you would be better off using the photoshop file as a template in illustrator and recreating the image. as a graphic designer and prepress tech for a commercial printer i can help you out. PM me for contact info and we can talk about it or send me the file.
going from a raster file to a vector file is possible but there are limitations based on the desired results. tilton101@comcast.net |

Listen to Bob. He speaks wisely and as he is offering to help a good person to boot.
