Sun was out so I went for a drive (pics)

Got up this morning and the sun was shining down so I thought why not?

Happy New Year to you all

Very nice and it looks like you had the added benefit of having the road all to yourself.

Wish the sun was out here. It's currently trying to snow & the roads are thick of rock salt Want to go out and try the performance meter I got for Christmas & see what 0-60 times the old girl will do. The joys of living in Yorkshire...

It's winter "perma-gray" here in Michigan with salt all over the place. Helga (my '74 911) is stored in the garage and I'm living vicariously through you folks until spring!

Art, move to the west side of town! The roads were clear, the sun was out so I was running up and down I-696.
Most likely won't be able to do that for a while now.

How tough is it to drive a left hand drive in the U.K? I would think passing cars would be exciting to say the least.
And happy New Year to you to.

Sat Ride!

Had another Winter Window of Oppourtunity to drive the car, New years day 9 am, NO ONE ON the freeways, thus had the "track" to my self. WEEEHOOOOOO!! Got it up to 140 for a mile straight, too much fun! It was amazing virtually NO one on the road! Well just waiting for the next NON Salt Dry day!

I've never found driving LHD ion the UK a major problem. We do have much less of a 'drive-thru' culture but I'd never use the 911 for a trip to the local multi-storey car park.

The only time it's a hassle is overtaking in single lane roads, and those which have decent speed limits on are rare. Also if you have a passenger just get them to lookout
