Paint question
Hey guys, happy new year to everyone.
I am eventually going to repaint my 78 SC and I was wondering if it is possible to take a zinc bodied car down to bare metal without removing the zinc treatment. Has anyone done this? Thanks for any advice. Norm

I'm not sure if this is the best way, but a chemical stripper should do the trick.

This has been discussed before, the ideal thing to do is take the paint down to the factory primer.
