1974 Fuel Filter Options
Folks,
As part of the resurection of my 74' Targa, what are my options for replacing the fuel filter? I still have the filter with the tube stubb at the bottom (Bosch P/N 04500903007). Thanks

Hi John,
If I am not mistaken, this is the same filter as the 73.5 CIS Setup which is NLA. This is my solution.

John, Thanks but I have an adapter for a later one and I'll just use that. I'm not planning on entering a concours so I don't think I'll need to stay 100% stock.

my '74 setup was modified...i don't have the serial number handy, but the filter i use actually shows up on the computer as being used for a 924 model...looks like john walker's but it's twice as long i think.

the 924 one was skinnier and had a fitting on both ends. it was probably the one used with the update kit.
