Can I drag up an old thread please?
I'm considering this Rennline pedal: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1157121715.jpg because I can't heel-and-toe to save my life in the 911. So I was searching through the archives. I came across this thread: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/241149-new-rennline-adj-gas-pedal-78-sc-anyone-have-prob.html?highlight=pedal complaining about the height of the adjustable pedal, so I continued searching and found this thread. My heel-and-toe method is hitting the brake with my right heel and blipping the gas with my right toes. Odd, yeah, I know, but it has worked for me in all of my other cars, and I have small feet so I can't do the inside-brake/outside-gas ball-of-foot method. Also, I find I have better dexterity with my heel than my toe, making the pigeon-toe method of braking with toes and blipping with the heel difficult for me. Is there another method I could use to bring the top of my pedal closer in line with my brake pedal? I simply cannot reach now. Should I get a reverse L-shaped pedal and train myself to h&t using the pigeon-toe method? Thoughts? |
Is it just me, or do these gas pedals look like Arnold in the first Terminator movie?
Man, they are hi tech. Incredible looking. I am sure they are great for fine tuning your "footwork." :D |
