Anyone out here using Quaker State full synthetic?

Just looking for opinions/personal experiences.

The specs I usually look at.......

Quaker State Synthetic 5w-50:
Flash: 224 C
Pour: -37 C
Visc @ 100C: 18.2
Sulfated Ash Wgt: Not listed

Mobil1 15w-50:
Flash: 230 C
Pour: -45 C
Visc @ 100C: 17.4
Sulfated Ash Wgt: 1.3%

Therse's a *lot* more to consider...

Look up my earlier post regarding the "oil bible"

Both flash points aren't terribly high ( around 435 degF)....there are many premium single weight dino oils that have 100 degF better flash points.

How 'bout looking at HT/HS specs ( high temp/high shear) ???

Do you know if this is ( like Mobil 1 ) a "true" synthetic made from PAO stock?...or is it a highly refined ( "Cracked" ) mineral oil that is so highly refined...it can be labelled and sold in America as "synthetic" ?? I think( but am not sure) that the highly-touted Shell Rotella-T Synthetic 5W-40 is such a cracked "synthetic"......
