Sorry to bug..One more question.


I have the valances off the car. Front and rear. Also the rocker panels. You know the texture the have on them. Should I make it all smooth or keep the original look. What have you guys done ? Any pics would be great as well.

I don't think it is just a texture -- I think it is "rubberized" paint or undercoating. So making it 'smooth' means you'll have a lots more rock chips.

not sure if it is rubberized but it will help prevent rock chips. i recently had a bodyshop remove dents and paint the front valence and the rough texture had to be removed. the guy said the texture could be reapplied but is difficult to make it look even/good so i opted to leave it smooth.
