Clutch Pressure Plate
OK, I got my old clutch out and I am trying to put the pressure plate together, but I do not know what order to puyt all this stuff in....does some one have an exploded view of the pressure plate, I couldn't find one on this site...

jwmc1. Do you mean throw-out bearing. If thats what you mean, just compare the old bearing,and match its assembly.

I can't tell by looking at the old one!!! I have the Haynes book and the 101 book...and the engine rebuild book...AAAARRRRGGGGGHHH!!!

OK . The fingered spring spring retainer goes on with the concave side to the pressure plate.The actual bearing goes on top of that. The retaining ring goes on the disc side of the pp. And the large c clip holds it all together. Hope this helps . I highly recommend the Bentley manual.Dan

Thanks guys, I finally figured it out though...my clutch was so fried I couldn't tell what went where!!!! Thanks again

Make sure you put #4 the right direction. Looking at the top picture, the bevel side should point to the left. Or like this < The concave side goes towards the plate. At first this will seem backwards as you have to compress the spring arms to seat the snap ring. #5 is the skinny washer, #2 is the thick one, with the snap ring groove pointing the right, or outside (again looking at the top picture.)
