'87 Clutch Reluctant to Disengage
The car is back from the shop where new engine and transmission mounts were installed and a transmission seal replaced.
On the drive home I noticed that the clutch is still slightly engaged with the pedal to the floor (the car will pull forward slightly) and that the pedal returns to a position about two inches below "normal". This sounds like it should be something obvious. Gurus, your pronouncements please....... |

Not a guru, but sounds like air in the hydraulics.
My '87 has an intermittent "hang" on decel in 1st. Mech thought it could be rust on the pressure plate. I've re-bled the thing a bunch, and am thinking of replacing the clutch and slave cylinder.

Air in the line would be my guess as well.
