Torsion tube question
Is this anything to worry about? I looks like a bracket. The body around the tube looks fine. This is from a 80 SC.

Ron G,
I would not waste any time getting that replaced. You are fortunate to have a galvinized chassis so your torsion tube is likely fine. I would pull the spring plate off and inspect however. Time for a little mantainance expence. Good luck. |

Get a new one! Replace the bushings with Elephant racing's or the Neatrix while your at it.

You see that rubber thing inside the hole in the bracket. That's your springplate bushing. The bracket is the bearing surface!!!
