How do I post a scanned drawing?
 

I've scanned a simple drawing but can't seem to get it attached to a post. It was too big on my first attempt ( I thought it could be any size?) so I kept shrinking it and trying to save it as jpeg or bmp and retried with no luck. What am I doing wrong? Thanks

Save it as a 720-pixel-wide image file in jpg format. Your scanner was probably scanning it at higher than 72 ppi. Scale it down to 720 pixels wide and 72 ppi. It will be small enough, then.

Thanks, yes, it was way too big. I scaled it down and voila!

Noah, I think that should read 100K.

100,000k is 100 megabytes! ..don't fancy that on dial-up:)
