911 ignition help!

Hello from Spain!
I have a 911 Rs clone with some racing mods, Iīve transported it by truck and now it doesnīt start..
Engine turns, trigger box whistles, but thereīs no spark.. netiher from coil or distributor.. ignition points seems ok.. seems that should be a silly problem, some wire disconnected? What should I check?? Condensor?
I explain wiring.. coil has 3 cables in, one brown (twisted) in one terminal and 2 in the other (i think that one is blue/yellow the other black)
Distributor has one arriving, black/purple.
Cables to trigger box, 3 cable terminal downside, one exit black..
Thanks for your help!
Regards, Gonzalo

It would be of help to us if you let us know what engine is in there. First, are you sure the points are opening properly? If you've got a dwell meter, I'd check that first to make sure the dizzy is working properly. Make sure that black/purple wire from the dizzy is secure. From there I'd check the resistance across the coil to ensure that it's functioning.-- search the archives for coil resistance. Then, if your Permatune is whining, that's a good thing, but not a guarantee that it's working. Start with the simple stuff though.

Thanks Chris!
Engine is 2.7, car is 1973 and so is wiring.
All the electric stuff is original..
The points are opening wide enough (I think)
I could try another coil to discard this fail..
Thereīs a black wire loose quite near distributor that I do not know where it goes.. seems like it was connected to somewhere (has no dirt) but I couldnīt find any place to put it.. as it is a racer, it has many wires loose so maybe this one is one of them with no function..
Could be something wrong in ign. key or should I look just backwards??

Just look backwards for starters. I doubt it's in the ignition switch if the car is cranking and the permatune is whining. After points, I'd look at the coil. If you've got a spare, swap it.

The loose wires are what concern me though. If the problem appeared after a long tow, it would seem logical that something shook loose. What else is this black wire attached to? Have you gone through and wiggled all the wires to see that they're all tight?

The black wire goes into a thicker one that ends in earth connection.. it is an earth wire.. but I donīt know if thereīs any earth attached to distributor.. seems not isnīt it??
Should be a silly thing.. but I canīt find it!
