Help painting car tomorrow need advice on color!

I have a 930 turbo slant nose look alike in the paint shop and am going to paint it tomorow and need advice on the color. I was origanally black and wondering if i shoul paint it a plain gloss black or a black with metallic in it so it looks dark dark grey in the sun. Please reply as your advice will be appreciated.

i kinda like the idea of the metallic black for a slantnose for some reason. i think it's subtler. a slantnose is unusual to see (my opinion), so i'd keep it more subtle..don't know if this reasoning makes sense to you or not! good luck..don't think you'll go wrong either way.

It's hard to go wrong with Black. It never seems to go out of style. For example a 67' 911, SC, Carrera, or 993 all look great in black and are period correct.

Good luck and post some pictures when it's done.

I would keep it black also. Black cars look so good if the body work is perfect. I have 3 black 911's and 930's and its my favorite color for these cars. Like Bobby said "it never seems to go out of style". Good luck on what you decide.

I painted my 964 widebody-look targa basaltblack metallic.
Slightly more foregiving if there are any small problems with bodywork and it will probably look nicer longterm in terms of scratches. 3 layers of clearcoat was put on mine by a concept car painter. I am really happy with this colour.
No good pics, hard to see the metallic effect.

I'll second that color suggestion. It's black, but with just a little bit more sophistication/personality that befits a "cool" car like a widebody or slantnose. Beautiful.

I painted mine non metalic black. The metalic black on mine was a little faded and looked like pavement. So I like straight black.
