Does Bruce Anderson frequent this board?
If Bruce is there I wonder if he could confirm, during a motor rebuild, does shaving 0.1 mm off of the heads on a 3.3 l turbo yield a compression ratio increase from 7.0:1 to 7.5:1 as the "Performance Handbook" dictates ?
Does this have any detriment to the chain slack or the chain cover alignment? Is it recommended and does it change the engine displacement by much? Is there a limit on the amount of boost that a stock motor should provide if this mod is done (EG - 1Bar ?) Thanks Jerry S |
