Only Leland could manage to buy a part from a potential law breaker

Edited by Leland in an effort to stay off the Witness Protection Program.

Leland, did you get out of EOD?

Hopefully he does send you a steering wheel...and hopefully it's the one you paid for, not one for a Ferrari from his dealership Then again...you could re sell it and turn a profit, though not as much compared to coke.

Porsche Crest

That isn't very funny, Noah!!!

Hopefully the shipment arrives, and the contents are just as described in the ad! And, hopefully he wasn't handling contraband just prior to packing the steering wheel ... just for Lee's sake!

Better run the other way the next time you smell a rat, Lee! Those hairs on the back of your neck work better than ESP, sometimes!

Good luck ... if the wheel arrives, or not!

If I ... ...disappear... say in a week or two... you know what to do.

Actually, if you don't, please call 911.

(no pun intended)

Awh come on guys. You think this guy would mess with eGad. I mean really you treat him like a common criminal. He must have some self respect and surely wouldn't misrepresent his sale on eYikes I've been had. Leland I'm sure you get the wheel as represented. But maybe you oughta have it checked by a drug sniffing dog first.

Hey, you know... there is a chance there are two Nader's in CA. This guy could be totally inocent. And it could be a coincidence they were both in to Porsches.

Hell, I really don't care. I just want my wheel, if it comes in just fine I'll give him positive feedback. Perhaps he has changed. Or perhaps this fellow wasn't involved in the first place. But you can imagine my shock when I searched his name and it came back in the same line as "methamphetamine".

I like to think positively about people, though.

That dealership was "Platinum Lambos" in Costa Mesa. I had a couple of buddies on the law enforcement side who did the operation. It was a complex organization.

Lee, if you disappear or feel the need to go into hiding, you can park your 993 in my garage. I will make sure it doesn't just sit around gathering dust too!

Hey, does your "friend" have a twin turbo getaway car he's now looking to down load for a 2004 tax write off or bail bond money??

I'm in the market for say $10-15K, I'm not even really all that picky, I'd even take one of his Lambos at the same price...

I'm thinking this guy can get you some pretty hard-to-find parts... stay in contact after the sale (just don't meet in person or you'll get linked).

Guess all those jokes about a steering wheel adding speed to your car are passé.

Gutsy? Maybe, but I bet Leland gives him a positive feedback on EBay. The EBay Nazis are much scarier than any cartel.
