polishing fake fuchs?

i was wondering if its possible to polish fake fuchs, mine have paint over them so i cant tell what the metal underneth looks like. does al reed do fakes also? i know they are fake and having real ones would be nice, but not for how much they go for these days, money would be better spent elsewhere, so i got to work with what i got....thanks!

Hard to answer a question with few know factors. If you removed the paint you'd probably still not know what alloy was used. Most likely they're cast aluminum of anybody's-guess as far as quality/composition.

You'll most likely be able to polish the wheels but end result is a crap shoot.
