Part No. Questions
Hi,
As a Porsche 'novice', I'm still finding my way around my car and the Porsche part no. system. I have a few more questions it would be great to get some help on: - I'm trying to find the correct part number for the five-speed manual transmission for a European '68 911t 2.0 SWB. I think the 5-speed unit may originally have been an option? Is this the 901.01 transmission? - What is the correct part number for the con-rods? Is this 901-103-011-00, 901-103-011-32 or something else? And, where can I get some quality new or used replacements (been scanning Pelican classified and E-Bay for some time now). Appreciate any help. Warren. |

Quote:
901-103-011-00 is the "connecting rod, complete" part number for the L and T (not S). 901-103-011-32 is for the conrod in the heaviest weight group 12 = 650-659 GR. There are also 7 other lighter weight groups, ending in part nos 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31. |
If I am looking for P. part numbers, where should I look?
I have an old invoice (faded fax) that has the old part number for a 2.2 911S piston/cylinder set, but I cannot find anywhere online to double check and print out for documentation purposes. I just checked with the Porsche center in my town, which said the number was updated to 911 103 918 02 , but couldn't give me a printout to provide any description. Also, it doesn't come up in Pelican parts listings although they are selling the set. |
