front spoiler stability quesiton
 

I damaged my front spoiler when I hit some dirt after going off track. I pushed it back into shape, but it's not perfect. Now above 90 mph the front seems loose. How important is the exact shape of the spoiler for performance? This might just be my imagination as I look for things in the aftermath.

Could the off changed your toe or camber front or rear?

The toe-in and camber seems to be the same. It feels like the spoiler isn't as effective now that it's slightly bent out of shape.

How bent out of shape? Is it bent out of shape because the shape of the valance that it's bolted to is a little off. When I bought my old '88 the front valance wasn't really straight and some of the bolts/washers had pulled through the rubber lip. I spent some time adding larger reinforced washers to hold the rubber in place as well as bending the valance back as close into shape as I could. I got it pretty close, and the front never really felt bad.

I'm with the Ted, could something else have gotten out of whack when you went off track. I wouldn't think you'd notice a difference at 90 or 100 unless the front spoiler was way out of shape, and if that's the case then I think you could fix that some more. The valance is pretty easy to bend by hand.
