So are the 2 white un-marked GT-3s , with a$$loads of neg camber just spares or what.....
Whatever you gotta do to have the cash around for 2 SPARE Cup cars is definitely the line of work I need to get into!!!

You're right, Chuck, that's darn ugly.
The GT3's are awesome looking cars, I can't wait until the 997 versions are out. The new mustang is an awesome looking car, and the new vettes look pretty cool.

![]() ![]() The interesting thing is that within the class, the car isn't just "eye candy", it's also very effective.

I'll never figure out why NASCAR - being the supposed marketing geniuses that they are - came up with rules resulting in such a buttugly design for the GTP's??!! Had they come up with something that looked even half as good as say an Audi R8, they would have won over many more fans despite the 'spec-racer' nature of the series.

BTW: I read something a few weeks ago that said Porsche is now HEAVILY involved in factory support of the Porsche-powered Brumos GTP car.

I watch Grand Am for the production based cars, not the Matchbox cars. At least last year's 24 at Daytona had some drama toward the end. It was a good race, even if the cars were fugly! ![]() (how do you spell embarassment?)

I think you're right Doug. I remember Porsche was not happy about the way the series decided to name the cars "Porsche-Fabcar" or "Porsche-Riley" or "Porsche-Whatever", implying some kind of manufacturer involvement, much less the spec-car rules. Sebring is the race to be at these days .....

Let's hope the "factory help" does some good this year!
I'd love to do Sebring. I've never done either of the big Florida races. Someday...
