The 3.2 is a great looking engine. Mike (89911) has one of the best with backdated heat and cone filter.

I would love to backdate the heat and ditch the blower.

Here's mine... I am thinking of the back date as well...

Thanks Chris! I didn't include a picture since my car is a 3.4 now. Anyhow here is the latest picture of the engine. I've ditched the MAF and filter and went with the stock intakes. They are easier to tune with the custom chips.

Stop you guys are killing me! If my wife catches me going into the garage again with her tooth brush.. to use on my engine. Seriously, they all look great and my next project is the engine. NY65912 Did you paint the fan!! What did you do to your engine, as I have a black car as well??

Cool thread. One I can finally play in.

Matthew,

Can we get more info and pics? Very cool setup.

Also, I'm surprised you guys do apply the finishing touch on your engines....the fan nut cap. I think it's less than a buck.

Shown below in Ralph's pic:

Maltese's engine is a biturbo , twin plug Bosch ign. & cyl heads by Aasco, CIS early euro 930 (custom cis lines by Troutman), 7.0:1cr, with 911/78 horizontal cooling fan (Porsche pn NOT the 911 year), spearco intercooler, and runs in my 9146GT/clone..not in my '79 930 (kinda stock) . The fan can put out a healthy 1,400 litre/sec. @ 7,000 rpm (fan) / engine @ 8,000 rpm):D
It is a 3.3 P&C with 3.0 rods (apprx 3180 cc), with offset rod bushings by L & L. It can run max @21 psi boost with 100 octane at the local Union 76. It is freaky to pull up on ricers and wannabee thugs (L.A. street scene), that want to give it a go.
At the middle of 2nd gear, and all of the glorious air cooled music--they're done. Some tweaked Supras are respectable though

Thanks for the rundown, MF. Sounds awesome.

I only know of one horizontal-fanned, twin turboed 914. Is that you Marty? You oughta post some pics of the rest of your car. Those that haven't seen it will get a real kick out of it!
