Need Burbank, CA Pelican Eyes

I am looking at an SC in Burbank. Price is right and need to have someone kick the tires just to make sure the car exists.

I'm in Virginia so a personal visit isn't possible.

The car is destined for the track so all I need is a quick once over and to get an eye ball on the seller.

Thanks in advance.

Marc

Hi Marc,

I can take a look and some pics, if you like. PM me ...I work 20 minutes away. But if you want a real PPI, Dave at TRE is the place to go! (IMHO anyway).

I live in Burbank, I can take some puctures as well and look at the car. But a true expert would be Dave at TRE...

Thanks guys, I'll talk with the seller and see what works.

If any of you all need anything in the DC area, I'm indebted.

If I'm not mistaken, Dave @ TRE is offering to take a quick look at it for you, not a PPI. (Which he could also do if so desired). What are you waiting for?

They can smell a roach coming down the street, so that is where I'd start.

Thanks Denis, et al . . .

Dave was kind enough to outfit my 911 with monoblocks a few years ago, and I have all the respect for him in the world. I don't want to waste anyone's time, including Dave's. I have to feel out this seller tomorrow and see if he is willing to drive up to TRE. If not, then I probably will punt. You know the old saying . . . . if it's too good to be true, then it probably ain't true.

Have a great evening.

Okay guys . . . gig is up . . . . the owner says "too busy to run it up to TRE" . . . . "When I bought the car I paid cash and that was that"

Can you say "Run Forest Run"

Thanks to all of you for your willingness to help out.

Sounds like just as well. When you put these old cars under the bright lights in the examining room and make them say "ahhhh", Dr. Dave sometimes just turns off his helmet light, drops his stethoscope and walks away.

The guy must know that his car needs a lot or is just a plain turd. Or maybe TRE has already seen this car, who knows. Keep hunting, good ones are very around.
