WAYNE - BBS slow again

Hi Wayne -- the bbs is back to being extremely slow again for the the last few days; also sometimes so slow that replies to threads will not post

I have cable modem access

Doesn't appear to be network related, at least inter-network as I haven't seen any route flaps for his network (which is broadcast as a /14). It may be last mile, but I always prefer to blame these types of problems on mysql.

Pgsql forever!!!

I had some posts I entered and saw appended to threads yesterday be mysteriously missing today. One in particular I checked on by loading the thread page again when the "submit reply" operation failed to redisplay the thread page. Minutes later every link from the 911 Tech thread index was going to a hard-wired "down on the 17th for repairs" screen even though yesterday was the 19th??

...and just now my previous post paused at an error screen, but ultimately came back to this thread page...barely.
