How to install Ruf/935 mirrors?
 

How did you install your Ruf/935 mirrors?

I had a set but sold them. Mine had a metal insert along the top and bottom thread. This was drilled and tapped to accept a machine screw. The window frame was drilled and countersunk at the same location. Insert screw through window frame and tighten into mirror. Sorry no pics.

Keep in mind these are really hard to see out of for a street car. Great on the track where one usually has a large Wink style rear view.

3M Double sticky foam tape. Been on for 8 years now with no probs. I also covered the inside of the quarter window with some black adhesive vinyl from a local sign shop so you are not staring at the inside of your Ruf mirrors all the time.

I've bought a couple of DP Motorsport mirrors, which look the same as the Ruf/935 mirrors, they are just bigger and more suitable for street use.
