What are these worth

I've been hunting for a pair of Fuchs to have fully polished and came upon these locally.

A pair of 7's and 8's. The need reconditioned and have the caps.

The 7's are real Fuchs and the 8's are fakes from the late 70's. They are really good fakes if their is such a thing. Didn't know they were fakes until I turned them around to look for part numbers.

Any way, what do you all think?

It depends on what they need to make them look good again, and of course what you consider good.

The 8" fakes will be considerably heavier and are pretty cheap, especially in the VW world.

7's are plentiful, & considering that it would cost at least $100 each to refinish (assuming you will ship them out) they're probably worth ~$200 for the pair. The fake 8's maybe $200 for the pair, its hard to say. Are you sure they're fakes & the stampings aren't just hidden by dirt? If they are fakes & the spokes aren't considerably beefed up on the backside compared to the real ones I wouldn't run them even if someone paid me to.
