Where can I buy a jack or jackstand adapter for the tub?
There was thread once that showed a rubber adapter for the jack and/or jackstand that fits around the tub seam. It was a rubber block with a notch cut out for the seam. Does anyone know where I can buy those? Thanks.

Yes, but I recall seeing a picture of a yellow block like you describe. .

I use hockey pucks, they are strong,cheap,plentiful and work.

We don't have too many of those at the beach in SoCal.
 Be careful of the yellow gizmo in that it may punch through some rust. I use a notched piece of hardwood about a foot long to spread the load. Oak works real good for this because of the grain. Ever tried to split oak logs? Neither have I and I don't want to, but the wood doesn't fracture and split in two like some other spieces. Great wood to have around the shop for lots of uses.

Cut a 1/4" groove in a hockey puck. Just like Harry says. Can't find mine or I'd post a pic.

Hockey pucks. And they are plentiful in SoCal..which has two NHL teams...one of which will probably win the Cup this year.
