Bumper Strip (front) Removal?
Took off the front rubber bumper strip, and have encountered the plastic plugs used to secure it to the metal.
How do these plugs come out, or not? And are they reuseable? ![]()

Did the same thing the other day. Crawl under the front bumper and use a punch to push the central 'teat' out. (Bottom pic) You should be left with the outer plastic ring still in the bumper and the other bit free to be placed in your bumper rubber when it all clicks back into place. Hope that makes sense?? Have fun! M

Thanks M. It is even easier when the bumper is resting on wooden blocks on the garage floor!
Unfortunately, 27 year old plastic is somewhat brittle. I was stripping all the hardware off the bumper, so I guess it was time for new plugs anyway.
