Yes I'm one of those anal cleaning guys. I clean everything on the car.

I took the SC to the DIY carwash this morning. Their water heaters are cranked up so it was like a steam cleaner. My wheel wells now look fantastic. All that is left is the paint and cosmolene.

Should you leave that stuff on and deal get over the funny look of it, or remove it? If remove, how do you remove it?

Spelled Cosmoline.

Do a search with that word in the 911 forum, you'll find a ton of stuff about it, its removal, etc.

Where did the cosmoline come from??? Aftermarket undercoating?

It sure didn't come from Stuttgart!
