Who's done the lightweight hood swap?
Was it worth it? I'm guessing its a 15 lb or so savings. Is it a simple swap? Hood pins necessary? Words of advice?

If you go street weight, you should be able to retain the hood latch depending on the manufactor. You do want to remove the hood struts, of course this means more weight loss
![]() Depending on the "perfection" you have in mind, it can simply be as simple as bolting it on and adjusting the latch. Then again if you want it to fool people, you've got some detail work ahead of you.
