Took Diff apart now what (pics)?
My diff was in good shape, however the houseing was very corroded and needed a good cleaning. So, I took it apart. Everything looks good inside. Do I just bolt it all back together without regard to preload? If so, what is the torque on the housing case nuts and the axle spindle nuts? I assembled everything to finger tight and it all feel like good before I took it apart. Thanks.

Everything you need is in Wayne's not yet written transmission book.
D'oh! What year and model car is it from? This is the best I can come up with for now. It's from the dreaded Haynes manual. (Haynes, Waynes??) Where it say's Carrera it means the 3.0 not the '84 on 3.2 ![]()
