Intermediate Shaft Cover Gasket, Dry or Coppercoat?
I'm replacing the intermediate shaft cover gasket.
I have sanded the cover flat and understand the torque should be around 6 foot pounds. Do folks suggest I install the gasket dry or with some KW Coppercoat? Or anything different? Thanks. Ian |

Suggested installation is dry, but never hurts to copper-coat or spread a little curil-t to both sides of the gasket.

I used loctite 574 on one side of the gasket, and WD-40 on the side with the studs.
