Frequency Valve Alternative

Is there some other alternative for the frequency valve?
A good friend invented this valve that limits the amount of fuel to a constant flow. He got this rudimentary valve in place of the FV and the odd looking valve works like the FV. Probably the CATCH is that the local constant temperature down here in the Caribbean(PR) only fluctuates from 78 F to 95 F. Beleive it or Not it is mounted on a T Class Racer.

the only alternative i know is to backdate to a 78-79 fuel distributor, sensor plate housing and warmup regulator. the early system doesn't use the frequency valve.

Let me tell you .., this little valve, at a given setting work's real nice not only on Porsches with K-Jetronics, But in similar Bosch Systems on VW, AUDI's. The one instaled in this particular Porsche is a 1982 3.2 engine CIS K-Jetronics, and is working Ok.!
Probably, the elevation and temperature constants in PR have something to do..! don't you Think..?
pd:I'm still waiting for the wiring diagrams:

If the frequency valve works by adjusting the mixture by metering the amount of fuel going back to the fuel dist, I would think you could put a valve in, set it through trial and error and then adjust the mixture as normal to within specs. When my relay rusted up, my FV stopped working and the car ran just a little lean, but very drivable.

Scott
Precise adjustment in the valve is the secret for this thing to work. He put some high temp silicone on the adjustable valve once he got the precise metering to avoid vibration movement. Is very sensitive..!
In my car ,I'm not getting the signal from the Warm Up Regulator (red/white wire) to terminal 86 in the Frequency Valve Relay. This wire is the one that activates the relay and subsequentially moves the FV.
