Crow Enterprizes (harnesses) is Awesome!

I don't believe our host sells 5 or 6 point harnesses, so this post should be ethical. I called this company on Monday afternoon to order harnesses and some hardware. I spoke to Fred Crow, the owner who offered to just make up my units custom to my needs based on how I told him I wanted to mount.

They shipped that day, and arrived in Dallas today. Awesome customer service, seemingly a great product (SFI rated), and GREAT pricing. What else can you ask for with a supplier?

Yeah, he did the same for me, and for others on this board. He even included both clip-in and bolt-on belt straps for me, because I wasn't sure how I wanted to do it at that point. Very friendly, awesome fast, and they look great in the car.

That's what we've been telling you. I went to Crow 2 years ago. I'd only seen one set of belts on a race car up to that point. Always willing to go do something different, I went over to see Fred and his son (who is just as friendly and efficient, but darnit, I forget his name) and they really impressed me. Didn't hurt that Fred was driving a Boxster, either.

I mentioned Crow Enterprises here back then and people are starting to take notice. Remember, it's all the same stuff that Simpson has complete with the lastest testing, quicker and cheaper.

Are they DOT approved? There are some harnesses that are, anyone know which ones?

It may be old information, but the last I heard Schroth was the only DOT legal harness.

Does Crow reweb expired harnesses? I have an out of date set of Crow 5-points I don't know what to do with.

why do you want dot approved? I wouldn't want to use them on the street...

And yes, they reweb, no problem. Even non crow harnesses, as far as I understand: http://www.crowenterprizes.com/reweb.html
