Pegasus Racing or any other supplier that pimps formula car stuff.

I'm more excited about those center-lock wheels.

I have those mirrors on my 914, the view out of them is limited at best! make sure you buy the ones with covex mirrors. I ended up cutting my own pieces of convex replacement mirror glass, and used double sided tape to hold them on.

Truechoice also sells them

There was a set of 935-ish looking mirrors on an RSR on display at Daytona...man, they completely stink for vision. I can't imagine what a smaller mirror would be like.

Some motorcycle mirrors could also be modified to work I guess.

Here is a second shot of the car. Without this mirror the car would look so boring.

Look at it this way, Dane; you learned from experience.

That is what friends are for Craig Gotta remember this car was intentionally painted brown and when shown in EXCELLENCE it had a tiny, one off, rear view mirror on the gas tank cover, ala the early Spyders.

The period, small manual flag mirrors aren't bad and have better visability.

But to each his own, no arguement there.

Early 911 mirrors still easily available and cheap @ 37.00.

These are the "new" high tech versions of the 935 mirrors you can actually see out of and adjust at $40. recently added to a factory 935.

Well, how's this for variety and to each his own; 993 Cup Car mirrors on an RSR bodied car with a 934 front end. Done in white. Moi car.

"CUPS" as in manual 993 mirrors or real 993 CUPS that bolt to the door quarter window frames ?

Ordered from Pegasus Racing, I shall report back when they arrive, thanks for the info.

As an art director I've always felt that rear view mirrors detract from the smooth visual appeal of a car. These mirrors are so small they almost dissapear visually. You hardly notice that they are there which is their best feature.

Now if I could just get rid of those cumbersome door handles.

The car is awesome. That is one of THE wood producing cars in the street driven Porsche world.

The mirrors, well, everyone is entitled to an opinion. You like em, I think they'd look great on a Civic that's been lowered, A-pillar gauges in indiglo, big muffler, and crazy looking tail bolted to the deck lid. At least the oval mirrors fit with the overall curvy theme of our cars. The rectangles are too angular for a car with almost no straight lines. Kind of like wearing striped pants, a spotted shirt, and a floral patterned tie.

Yea, I figured these mirrors would be very polarizing. Still, I can appreciate some of the reasons for NOT liking them.

ÒThe rectangles are too angular for a car with almost no straight lines.Ó

Òthe oval mirrors fit with the overall curvy theme of our cars very wellÓ

Well said I think. My least favorite mirrors are the ones I currently have, the flag mirrors that come with the sc. They work great but to masraums point, seem to have little to do with the rest of the car. On top of that they are so very large.

Things like mirrors, antennas, door handles and bumpers to me look like Òadd ons.Ó There out of necessity, not because they visually enhance the car. Most of the time they interrupt the overall theme. That doesnÕt mean they canÕt be designed well, itÕs just that the more successful executions are often the ones that draw the least attention to themselves.

When I do get the mirrors, about $90 for the pair by the way, IÕll tape them to the car, take a picture, and then photo shop out the flag mirrors. IÕll post with and without shots so we can argue some more.

For better lines you may want to consider the following racing mirrors. IMO, they flow with the lines of the car better than the rectangular flag style.

Kremer type - 935:

Kremer type - 935:

DP Motorsport style - 935:

Variation of your flag style:
