2.0L alu case

may you tell me the max engine capacity to built on an early 2.0l alu case ? 2.8L ? thanks Best regards |

If you have an early aluminum case, with a few upgrades (case savers, shuffle pins, oil squirters) it should be capable of supporting even a little larger, 2.9L (93 or 93.5mm bore). New heads studs, like supertec's or arp's would be good. ARP's new thru-bolts would be a great addition too (they will be ready in march from what I hear).

why not sell it to a small bore guy and use the profit to buy a 3.0 alu. case that is stronger?
