synthetic gear lube
anyone ever try lighter weight synthetic gear lube in their tranny? my G50 takes some time to warm up and loosen up. seems like thinner gear oil would help out here. any opinions?

I put Mobil 1 in my G50 and it stopped the hard shifting when cold.

Synthetic Gear Lube
Asmoil 75W90. GL-2 through GL-5. Proper Ep additives for Ring and Pinion but gentle on Synchros. I have run it in 901s and 915s with decent results. From what I read here, the G50 responds weel to synthetic but quite honestly I have no furst hand experience.
PM me for deatails on discounts, Don p911sc44@hotmail.com |
