Optons code 900? what is it? Its not widebody right?

To follow up on the wide body cab at Daniel Schmitt the sales person sent me back an email saying the options code for widebody is 900. I believe its 491, is that correct?

Wide body is M491 A.K.A Turbo Look, A.K.A. Super Sport in the U.K.

Option Code 900 is for "Tourist Delivery."

I believe that is a car that was sold outside of Germany but picked up by the customer in Germany. A "European Delivery" car.

How much longer are you going to let those guys pull your leg on that car?!?

trader220 01-28-2005 09:48 AM

I am pulling their leg on it at this point. This is the second turbo look cab I've been kicking the tires of over there. Each questin about either car has been met with a pack of lies from these guys. Its so silly at this point that I am having a funny time responding to each of their lies with the correct info that they're trying to hide. This just leads them to tell another lie to cover up the previous one.

Nope, not me.

If that's the case, why not have them e-mail you a picture of the brakes? Let's have a look!

trader220 01-28-2005 10:23 AM

will do

bigrubberjeep 01-28-2005 10:45 AM

Or a picture of the underneath of the hood label, the one with the codes.

As said before 900 is Tourist Delivery

I aksed for a photo of the options codes on the underside of the bonnet and of the brakes. This should be good for a laugh.

trader220 01-28-2005 04:50 PM

Oh well they just broke off all contact.

bigrubberjeep 01-28-2005 09:25 PM

Well being that it was not a "Porsche" dealership, give them credit for trying. After all, to the "average" eye, it does look like a widebody, since "it is". They only were trully wrong on the "factory" part of it.
