Targa Bars-an Experiment Gone Wrong?

I had a couple of bars that had been cut wrong and would go in the scrap bin or use them to add some more bracing to my targa.. I am not sure what i intended to accomplish but this is the result, perhaps a little to much bling and to mechanical looking.

I like them. Do they provide any additional stiffness?

Bling. But heck, people will buy anything! How much horsepower do they add?

My butt-o-nometer indicatets at least a 10%increase in H.P.
I don't percieve any increase in stiffy-ness as the targa bars did a pretty good job already. I don't plan on adding this addition to the kit , with the additional brackets and material it would drive the price up considerably.

Honest opinion, technically?

It would be "better" if the shiny bar alongside the seat was bolted at the very top where the original targa bar itself is bolted. Plus....the "dull" targa bar now is loaded in "bending" near its center, where it wasn't before ( it was in compresssion before).

Looks kinda neat....

Not that it really matters but when you {i have already done it} run the bar directly from the top mount bolt to the lower bracket, because of the angles involved , the bar interfers with the seat back tilt operation. This is not the case in a cab.
