In OH - Steinel's Autowerks or Stoddard for PPI
Looking to have a PPI done on a C4S 993 in Ohio. I am posting on the 911 board as I have spent a lot of time here and trust you all. My 930 is becoming a dedicated track car hence the consideration of another car. Have any of you used the above shops and have any thoughts? Thx.

Can't go wrong with either but I vote for Steinels. Eric Steinel's shop works on the majority of the Northern Ohio PCA cars including many club racers. He typically has wide variety of car models and years in his shop ranging from regular maintenance to race engine rebuilds.
While Eric is not inexpensive, I have been pleased with his quality of work. I'm sure Stoddard's is just as qualified but they're a dealer who specialized in parts and body repair. You don't see the same number of racers or projects in their garage as you do at Steinels. Also depends on where the car is located. Steinels is in Twinsburg (SE Cleveland), Stoddard's is in Willowby (NE Cleveland) and there is another shop call Autobahn Extremest in Rocky River (West of Cleveland)

I echo the positive thoughts on Steinel's. They've done great work for me and have helped me out of a jam a time or two.
