What's a 915 rebuildable core worth?

Hi guys,
I have a 915/40 from a '75 911S. It's the last of the mag-case transmissions with cable-drive speedometer and an 8:31 R/P.

Third gear makes grinding noises when engaged, but I don't know the extent of the damage. I'd call it a rebuildable core gearbox.

Any estimates on what this thing's worth? I want to be fair but not go too low either.

Thanks,
Colin

i pay between $100 and $200 for any rebuildable core. you're going to put maybe $1000 in parts in it to rebuild, so it better be cheap. in fact, i'll buy any core in the seattle area.
