changing 964 springs B&A pics
Hey everyone,
I was going through some pics and realized I had some I'd meant to post months ago and forgot about. I had just wanted to post some gratuitous before and after pics, so here they are: here's the initial rideheight here's some pics of changing them out... man those brakes fill up the wheels here's a pic of the final rideheight... looks better than the one in taken in the same spot, sorry.

Very nice.
For all the crap people give 964's, I've always liked them. Where in Charleston is Rennsport located? Only fifteen more years until I get to live there.

Rennsport is in West Ashley, right near Citadel Mall if you know where that is.
Ah the tail... In theory it's very easy to change them out... the only problem is that the RSA tail is shaped differently than the earlier Carrera tails believe it or not and has a different part number... so the turbo rubber does not fit perfectly, there is a small lip on the bottom where the rubber meets the fiberglass, but it doesn't seem to affect the performance. Also, the earlier rubbers used a different bolt pattern, so you have to drill two holes in the fiberglass. However, the neat thing about it is that you can customize your rear downforce for the track you are on. The RSA rubber can be used when you want to go really fast on the straights and downforce isn't an issue, it's my low drag configuration. Next you can use a 965 Turbo rubber which made the same overall downforce on the rear axles of a 965 as the earlier rubber did on 930s, but since the 965s were aerodynamically cleaner, it made less drag. Then Theres the rubber pictured which is the high drag, really high downforce configuration which is the rubber element from a 930. So, changing them out isn't bad... it just infuriates me to no end that they don't fit perfectly.
