Official Group buy on the GP Racing jackets

Dr. Pate's original thread:
Ok, we need to no kidding "pool our resources" Steve's Jacket

First thanks to Wayne for putting up with our nonsense. "We" are going to be buying Wayne the jacket of his choice BTW. We'll figure out how much that will cost us all once we get some numbers.

I'll take payment in personal checks or PayPal @ dane174@attbi.com

DO NOT send MONEY NOW

Here is the web site for jacket styles and prices less 50%.

http://www.dakota-industry.com/index-main.htm

Anything can be ordered at 50% off Dakota's web prices for Pelican members only.

No more than 50 jackets, any style total for the group buy. I am not going into the clothing business. This could easily become a serious pain in the ass which i would like to avoid.

Lets me know if you are interested here first so we can get some numbers started. I'll need to find out the shipping to me. Shipping in the CONUS should run $8/9. So add that in when you are thinking about your order. A Nice jacket for Mr. Pelican would run us all $4.00 additional (figuring 50 jackets sold) which seems more than fair for what Wayne has offered.

There will be no returns and no *****ing on sizes..you get what you buy as I aint your momma If we have defective jackets or the wrong size you can deal with Dakota directly as a retail buyer.

Sound fair?

If so let 'er rip!

Dane, any sizing charts that the distributor can send you (us?). I'm thinking of a jacket for my lady to wear when she's on the back of my motorcycle

I agree, but my lady is 5'-10", so the cuts that work on the average female (5'-5"?) look a bit odd on her, esp. with the riding position of a crotch rocket ...kinda like a leather bra at that point

Maybe this will work better..'side, I don't go carving corners to tight with her on the back.

I'm in. Dane, maybe you should add something to the original post about a 1 jacket per person limit for the time being so as many people as possible can get in. And then, if we're short, those who would like can get more than 1.

Hey dane, as a former group-buy coordinator I have one thing to say - you're F#*%ing nuts. But God bless you anyway, I'll probably be in.

I'll go for it.

If I understand this right, the price on the website is 100% and we'll get half off that. Yes?
